What is antenna beamwidth?
Answer:
1.Degrees between the half power points (3 dB) of the major lobe of the antenna.

2.In addition to directivity, the radiation patterns of antennas are also characterized by their beamwidths and sidelobe levels (if applicable).

3.Antenna beamwidth is the peak-to-peak angle overlaying the maximum gain beam of the antenna at which its gain is reduced by 3 dB.

4.Beamwidth = 70λ / D where, λ = Wavelength D = Diameter .

5.The narrower the beam the higher the power density that will be achieved.
